ibisPaint ver. 13.1.9 Released

ibisPaint ver. 13.1.9 is now available.

From this update, the supported Android versions will be 7.0 or later.
We kindly ask for your understanding.
There is no change in the supported OS versions for the iPhone/iPad and Windows versions.
The summary of this update is as follows.

 [Improvements, Changes]

  • Supports Unicode 16.0 emoji characters.
  • Expanded the value range of “Speed - Thickness”, “Speed - Opacity”, “Speed - Blurring”, “Pressure - Thickness”, “Pressure - Opacity”, and “Pressure - Blurring” from -100% – 100% to -200% – 200%.

 [Fixed Bugs and Problems]

  • Fixed a bug where some layers are unnecessarily rasterized when using "Translate Scale" in the Transform tool.
  • Fixed a bug where the app might crash when changing the current tool from Special Pen tool to other one.
  • Fixed a bug where the hit detection for curves was incorrect when zooming in and out on the canvas in the curve drawing tool.
  • Fixed a bug where the app might crash on long press.
  • Fixed an issue where Quick Eyedropper would not start under certain conditions.
  • (Free) Fixed a crash that occurred when tapping our in-app advertisement on the Playback screen.
  • (Free) Fixed an issue where the "Use for free" button on the paywall, which appears when using a locked brush, was off-screen and not visible without scrolling on certain devices and language settings.
  • (Android) Fixed a bug where, on some devices, using certain filters such as Relief, Waterdrop (Rounded), Extrude (Parallel), Extrude (Perspective), God Rays, or Cross Filter on a large canvas would cause the screen to display incorrectly and leave the app in a state where normal interaction was no longer possible.
  • (Android) Fixed an issue where the Liquify pen would not work properly on some devices with an Adreno 810 or Adreno 830 GPU.
