30. Layer: Save Canvas as Transparent PNG command

'Save Canvas as Transparent PNG' command is a function that lets you save an image to your photo library with all the white portion of the image turned transparent.

Prepare an illustration that you would like to save as a transparent PNG file.

Open ① the Layer window, scroll all ② the way down in your layers.
Select ③ transparent.
*You must do this step to save the file as a transparent PNG.

Tap on ① "…" button, and select ② "Save Canvas as Transparent PNG".

The file has been saved to your photo library. It's a lot more convenient to just load the file you just saved, and then add filters to them.
Here, I will add a glow effect to the image using Gaussian Blur filter.

Once the file is saved, open ① the Layer window and tap on ② Import from Photo Library, to load the illustration you previously saved in your photo library.

You will be asked, "Would you like to extract the line drawing?" Tap on ① Cancel to load the image.

Open ① the Tool Selection window and select ② Filter.

Select ① Gaussian Blur.

You can adjust ① the Radius by dragging the slider left and right. Tap on ② ✓ to add the blur effect.

Open ① the Layer window and tap ② the blend mode, select ③ Multiply.

Finished.
