55. Entering text with Text tool
Text tool lets you enter text easily, and is even capable of vertical writing, which is an essential function in manga drawing in Japanese.
From ① the Tool Selection window, select ② Text tool.
Tap ①Add Text .
① Enter text in the blank.
② Left, Center, Right, you can make the text align to the left, middle, and right.
In ③ vertical writing, you can write text vertically.
Tap on ④ Font.
This time, we are using ① American Typewriter Condensed Bold.
*The displayed fonts are fonts onboard the device. As such, the displayed fonts will differ by device, and by operating system (such as iOS and Android).
In ① Size tab, drag ② the slider left to right to adjust the size.
In ① Style tab, you can change the color of the font.
You can change the color of the text at ② Text color.
You can change the color of the border at ① Stroke color, and you can change the thickness of the border by dragging ② the Thickness slider left and right.
In ① Background tab, tap on ② Background color.
Initially, the opacity level will be at 0%. Slide ① the Opacity slider to the right to increase the opacity level.
In ② the palette, you can fill a rectangular background with your favorite color.
① The margin width for the background color can be adjusted by dragging the slider for the margin width.
② The margin height can also be adjusted by dragging the slider.
In ① Spacing tab, you can change ② the Spacing by dragging the slider left and right.
You can adjust ③ the space between rows by dragging the slider left and right at row spacing.
If you slide left you will see ①Order and Delete.
Use the Order function to arrange the position (front & back) of the texts, and drag the ②text above.
When finished, tap ③✓ button .
You can use the Text tool to make manga, create pamphlets, and so on.
