In ibisPaint, you can save settings such as brushes and color palettes as a "backup file (ipcfg)". Export and save the backup file to external storage such as Dropbox, iCloud, and SD card. This is convenient because you can easily restore the previous settings from the backup file when you get a different device. As an example, here is how to backup and restore using Dropbox.
Tap ①Settings button on the Title screen.
Tap ①Backup Settings .
Tap ①Save to Dropbox .
Choose the ①Save destination folder and tap ②Save button . By doing the steps above, "Backup files (ipcfg)" can be saved to a specific location on Dropbox. Next, we will explain how to import the backup file into ibisPaint and restore your settings.
Open Dropbox and tap ① menu button of the saved backup file.
Tap ①Export .
Tap ①Copy to ibisPaint .
The app will automatically switch from Dropbox to ibisPaint. Turn on the settings you want to import and tap ①✓button .
"Confirmation dialog" will be displayed. Tap ①OK button to restore the settings.
