146. Filter (Artistic): Cross Filter

The Cross Filter allows you to easily add light beams to sources of light in photos or illustrations, as captured by cameras equipped with cross filters. In this example, we show how to add glittering light beams to airport runways shot at night.

Open the ①Tool Select window and select ②Filter.

From the ①Artistic tab, select ②Cross Filter. Configure Count, Direction, Area, Brightness, and so on and tap on ③✓.

Open the ①Layer window. Tap on ②Add Special Layer and select ③Duplicate Layer.

From ①Blending Mode, select ②Overlay and adjust the ③Layer Opacity.

There we go.
