69. Ruler: Elliptical Ruler

Elliptical Ruler is a tool that lets you draw precise ellipses. Combine the Elliptical Ruler and the Wedge brush from the Brush tool to create speech balloons in manga.

Prepare an illustration that needs a speech balloon.

From ① the Ruler tool, select ② Elliptical Ruler.

Drag ① to change the width.
Drag ② to change the position.
Drag ③ to change the height.
Drag ④ to change the angle.

Once you have determined where to put the ellipse, open ① the Brush window to select ② Wedge brush.

Draw a circle counterclockwise.

Open ① the Tool Selection window and select ② Bucket tool to fill the center.

After filling in, enter text inside using the Text tool to finish your speech balloon.
