50. Display Grid on the Canvas

When you want to arrange text, images, etc. in the correct position, it is useful to display a grid on the canvas as a guide when creating pixel art. In this example, we will explain the settings for drawing pixel art.

Open "New Canvas window" from ①Create New Canvas. Enter 32 for width and 32 for height in the ②Input Box. Tap ③OK to create a square (32px x 32px) canvas.

Open the ①View Menu. Turn the ②Grid on and switch to "Pixelated" in ③Display when zooming.

Open the ①Brush Window. Select ②Digital Pen. Set the ③Thickness to 1.0px.

Draw pixel art. Displaying the grid allows you to draw pixels perfectly along the grid lines.

Paint the colors and it's done.
