With ibisPaint, you can create a canvas specifically designed for manga printing when you open a new canvas. By selecting a type of manuscript from the available templates, you can easily create a canvas that conforms to the manga manuscript paper standards.
Open New Canvas window with ①Create New Canvas button and select ②Manga Manuscript.
Select ①Manuscript Type, and choose ②a manuscript type you would like to create from the list. By selecting ③OK, a new canvas will be opened with guides that display the inner frame, final size, and bleed width of the manga manuscript.
Draw your storyboard to match that of the inner frame. By drawing your manga within the inner frame, you can create a manga that conforms to the manga manuscript paper standards.
Within the "Manga Manuscript Settings," by turning ①Custom ON, you can also create a manga manuscript where you can freely configure(*) the manuscript size and resolution to your liking.
