The "Transform tool" enables you to add various transformations to layers and layer folders. "Translate Scale" enables you to move, scale, and rotate layers. In addition, the "Perspective Form" enables you to transform a layer by adding perspective, and the "Mesh Form" divides the layer into a grid for more detailed transformations.
①Translate Scale … Select to move, scale, or rotate a layer.
②Scaling … Enable layer scaling.
③Rotation … Enable layer rotation.
④Repeat … Turn the repeat display on or off.
⑤Movement X … Set the horizontal movement distance of the layer.
⑥Movement Y … Set the vertical movement distance of the layer.
⑦Zoom … Set the zoom level.
⑧Angle … Set the rotation angle.
⑨Interpolation Method … Set the Interpolation Method.
⑩Target … Select whether to transform only the current layer or the entire canvas (all layers).
⑪Show Frame around Object … Displays a blue rectangular frame around the target object. When it is ON, touch the edge or inside the frame to scale, rotate, and move the target object. Touch outside the frame to scale, rotate, and move the canvas on the screen. When it is OFF, the target object can be scaled, rotated, or moved by touching anywhere on the screen.
There are six different Interpolation Methods. By changing the Interpolation Method according to the intended application, the image can be optimally expressed for its purpose.
①Nearest Neighbor (Dot) … No interpolation. Suitable for pixel art.
②Average Pixel (Dot) … When enlarged, they are dots, and when reduced, the pixel colors are interpolated by their average value. Suitable for image reduction.
③Bilinear (Normal) … Set the standard image quality.
④Bicubic (Sharp) … Set a sharper image quality than with Bilinear (Normal).
⑤Lanczos 2 (Sharp) … Set a sharper image quality than with Bicubic (Sharp).
⑥Lanczos 3 (Sharp) … Set a sharper image quality than with Lanczos 2 (Sharp).
①Perspective Form … Select to transform a layer by adding perspective.
②Perspective … Switch the Perspective Form on or off.
③Repeat … Select the Repeat type.
④Repeat X … Select how many times a layer repeats horizontally.
⑤Repeat Y … Select how many times a layer repeats vertically.
⑥Phase X … Set the starting position for a horizontally repeating layer.
⑦Phase Y … Set the starting position for a vertically repeating layer.
⑧Interpolation … Switch the Interpolation on or off.
①Off … No repeating.
②Inner … Repeat inside the layer.
③Horizon … Repeat inside and outside of the layer.
④Full … In addition to the Horizon repeat, the image is inverted and repeated like a mirror image.
①Mesh Form … Select to put a layer in Mesh Form.
②Draw Order … Set the stacking order of the grids.
③Division X … Set the number of horizontal grid divisions.
④Division Y … Set the number of vertical grid divisions.
⑤Smoothness … Set the grid smoothness.
Scale layers
Scale layers up or down by using one finger to drag the ①Scale Knob at the corner of the blue rectangle.
Move layers
Drag ①Inside the blue rectangle with one finger to move the layer.
Rotate layers
Drag the ①Rotation Knob with one finger to rotate the layer.
Scale, rotate, and move the canvas
Scale, rotate, and move the entire canvas by pinching in/out and dragging outside of the blue rectangle with two fingers.
