Perspective Form is a tool that allows you to add perspective (depth) to your illustration and textures. The tool is used if you want to add textures to a floor with perspective.
Prepare a line drawing of a room.
From ① the Material tool, select ② Material Patterns (Color).
Tap ①Flooring 01.
Tap ①Perspective Form and change Repeat to ②Inner.
①Repeat X … Drag the slider left and right to set the density of the horizontal direction.
②Repeat Y … Drag the slider left and right to set the density of the vertical direction.
Set the number of repeats to 4.00 for both X and Y. By using the repeat function, you can set the density of the texture to fit the background, for a more natural look.
①Phase X … Drag the slider left and right to set the position of the pattern in the horizontal direction.
②Phase Y … Drag the slider left and right to set the position of the pattern in the vertical direction.
The phases can be left at 0%.
If you drag the ①knob, you can freely form the perspective. Form the material to match the room’s perspective. When you are done, tap ②✓.
Add colors to other furnitures and you're done.
Also, if you make the Repeat “Horizon” and paste a texture, you can easily create a depiction resembling a never-ending horizon.
Import a material from the Material tool and switch the Repeat to ①Horizon. Set the number of repeats and phases to your preference.
Form the material so that it looks as if the tiles are lined up from the part of the canvas closest to you and going away from you and tap ①✓.
If you paste an illustration or photograph of the sky as the background of the horizon, you will create an image with even more depth.
