With Replace Color, you can replace a specified color with another. For example, you can create multiple flowers of different colors from a single flower illustration, as well as easily alter the hair or eye color of characters, even after finishing drawing. To demonstrate, we will create a red rose from a yellow rose.
The Replace Color filter is available only to prime members. For more information on Prime Membership, please refer to Prime Membership / Remove Ads Add-on.
Open the ①Tool Select window and select ②Filter.
Tap ①Adjust Color and select ②Replace Color.
Move the ①Reference Point located on the canvas to the flower petals, and adjust the ②Hue, Saturation and Lightness so that the petals appear red. The color within the reference point will be replaced with your chosen color.
Add another ①Reference Point. You can position up to five reference points. The more reference points you position, the more the substituted colors will form a natural gradation.
We have positioned all our reference points so that the petals are now fully red. Set the fuzziness and range as desired, then tap ①✓.
Done! The yellow rose has changed into a red rose.
