Open the ①[Tool Select window] and select ②[Eyedropper].
When you ③[tap] the screen to activate the Eyedropper tool, a ④[Layer Selection button] that displays the name of the layer that contains the contents drawn at that position will appear.
When you tap the ⑤[Layer Selection button], the layer containing the contents drawn at the Eyedropper's position will become the current layer.
Contents Layer Selection can also be used with the Quick Eyedropper tool.
The Quick Eyedropper tool can be turned on and off in the settings.
Tap the ①[Back button] and select ②[Settings] to open the Settings window.
You can switch the ③[Quick Eyedropper] toggle button to turn it on and off.
You can use the Quick Eyedropper by long-pressing the canvas screen when the ④[Brush tool] is selected.
Tap the ①[Back button] and select ②[Settings] to open the Settings window.
To turn it on, go to the User Interface section of the Settings window and tap the ③[ Disable Contents Layer Selection function when using Eyedropper ]'s switch button.
It is compatible with keyboard shortcuts for Windows PCs, and iPhones (iOS 14.0 or later), iPads (iPadOS 14.0 or later), Android devices with a Bluetooth or USB keyboard connected.
On iPhone and iPad devices, you can activate the Contents Layer Selection by dragging the stylus while pressing the Option and Shift keys. On Android devices and Windows PCs, you can activate the Contents Layer Selection by dragging the stylus while pressing the Alt and Shift keys.
