148. Filter (Artistic): Anime Background

With the Anime Background filter, photos can be processed to look like anime backgrounds. It can be used to create backgrounds that easily fit the style of the character you have drawn.

Open the ① Layer window and tap ② "Import from Photo Library". From the Photo Library load the images you want to apply an anime-style background to.

Move with ① one finger drag, ② two finger pinch in and pinch out to adjust the position and size by scaling and tap the ③ ✓ button.

While the image is being read, the app will ask "Extract Line Drawing", so tap ① Cancel.

Once the image has been imported, tap ②Filter from the ①Tool Selection window .

Tap ①Anime Background .

Drag the slider such as ①Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, etc. to adjust. When finished, return to the canvas with ②✓ button.

By positioning the character in the background, you increase the sense of completeness in your work.
