Finished artworks can be exported in a variety of formats depending on your needs. Here, we will explain the basic steps for exporting an artwork and the items you can configure.
Tap ①[ Back ] and select ②[ Save Image ].
The ③[ Save Image ] window opens, where you can choose the file format, whether to keep transparency, color settings, and more.
"AI Disturbance" and exporting in CMYK format are features limited to Prime Members or users who purchased the Pro Upgrade. For details, see "Premium Membership / Ad Removal Upgrade (for iPhone/iPad, Android)" or "Premium Membership / Pro Upgrade (for Windows, Mac) ".
Tap ④[ OK ] to export the artwork. When the export is complete, the save destination selection screen will appear. Choose the app or folder where you want to save it.
You can also export from My Gallery. First, select ⑤[ Artwork ]. Tap ⑥[ Share button ] and select ⑦[ Image (PNG/JPEG/PSD) ] to open the Save Image window. From there, the process is the same as saving from the canvas screen. Set the export format and save the file.
①[ File Type ] ... Select the type of image to save.
②[ Transparent ] ... Turns background transparency on or off. This is available only when saving as "PNG" from the canvas screen. This item is not shown when saving from My Gallery, but if the background color is transparent, the artwork is automatically exported as a transparent PNG.
③[ Super-resolution x2 ] ... A setting that uses AI (Artificial Intelligence) to output a high-resolution image. When turned on, the size of the exported image becomes twice the original size. For details on AI Super-resolution x2, see "Output High-Resolution Images with AI (Artificial Intelligence)".
④[ AI Disturbance ] ... When turned on, noise is added to interfere with training by image-generating AI. For details on AI Disturbance, see "AI Disturbance".
⑤[ Color Space ] ... Select the color space used for output from "RGB", "CMYK", "Grayscale (8bit)", or "Monochrome 2-tone (1bit)". You cannot select unsupported color spaces for the chosen file format. In that case, change the file format or choose a supported color space.
⑥[ Preserve Layers ] ... Select how layer information is saved. This is available only when saving as "PSD" from My Gallery. When turned on, the file is saved while preserving layer information. When turned off, the layers are merged and saved as a single image. When saving from the canvas screen, this item is not shown and the artwork is exported with "Preserve Layers" turned off.
If you are submitting data to a printing company, it is recommended to turn off "Preserve Layers" because blend modes may not be reflected correctly and the colors may change.
Color Profile, Rendering Intent, and Black Point Compensation can be configured when the file format is set to "CMYK". These are advanced settings, so in most cases there is no problem leaving them at their default values. For details, see "Export in CMYK (Save)".
